Cisco Certification
Training Programs
Cisco certification gives IT technicians a
clear career ladder, making sure that
their abilities are measured and
recognized at each stage of their career.
The first technician level of
certification by Cisco is gained by
achieving either CCNA Cisco Certified
Network Associate, or CCDA Cisco Certified
Design Associate. Both these certificates
deal with networking, the CCDA being about
designing network infrastructures, and the
CCNA about installing and maintaining
them.
Certification allows other people to be
able to recognize your skills and
abilities, and helps you gain promotion
and new jobs as appropriate. You will be
able to update your certifications as the
technologies change, and keep up to date
with developments in your specialists.
Cisco Technician level 2 certification
builds on the level one abilities by
certifying journeyman abilities, and
awarding the CCNP Cisco Certified Network
Professional certificate; the CCSP Cisco
Certified Security Professional
certificate; the CCIP Cisco Certified
Internetwork Professional or the CCDP the
Cisco Certified Design Professional. These
certificates examine your abilities in
networking, including design, installation
and security issues for intranets,
extranets and the internet, and the
necessary specializations in these
areas.
Certification gives you a clear career
path in networking, allowing you to
demonstrate your level of skills and
knowledge as your career progresses. This
is invaluable when it comes to promotion
or gaining a new job, and also helps you
to keep up to date with new developments
in networking technologies.
